I attempt to overcome the chasm, the divide, between many philosophical traditions. Maintaining traditions that don't talk to any other traditions makes thinking stale.

Distinctions of Value
I like Adrienne Martin's overall distinctions about what is meant by value. Here's the blog post over at PEA Soup.
Like any field of philosophy I guess, terms used formally can have a wide variety of use over time. Delineating aspects of this usage is helpful in attaining a conceptual clarity often lacking in ethics especially.
